Where dollar stores get their merchandise
Dollar and discount stores buy from general-merchandise wholesalers, importers, and closeout suppliers - most owners use a mix of dollar store suppliers rather than one. The closeout part is where the margin is: overstocks, packaging changes, seasonal surplus and discontinued lines from name-brand supply chains, bought well below normal wholesale.
That is what we sell: wholesale dollar store items and higher-ticket name brands from overstock and closeout lots. How minimums work
Minimums are set per deal. Some items have their own minimum order quantity; others can be mixed by the case pack to reach an order minimum. Every listing shows its minimum and what that minimum costs, so you know the size of an order before you reach out.
Does it work on a $1.25 shelf?
Check landed cost - what an item costs you on the shelf after freight. An example with round numbers: a case of 48 at $0.50 each, plus freight that works out to $0.20 a unit, lands at $0.70. At $1.25 that leaves $0.55 a unit, a 44% margin. Freight is the part that surprises people, so get your carrier’s rate for the ship-from location before you buy.
Not every closeout belongs on a $1.25 shelf. Many of our name-brand items sell for $3-$10 at regular retail, which is where discount and variety stores make their best margins.
Dated goods
Dated items have their date codes disclosed per lot, and we’ll tell you what we see on any lot before you commit. We don’t sell expired goods.

Are your lots manifested?
Yes — you see items, quantities, and pricing before you buy. We deal in wholesale and closeout lots, not blind liquidation pallets of customer returns.
What are the minimums?
Minimums are set per deal. Some items have their own minimum order quantity; others can be mixed by the case pack to reach an order minimum. Every listing shows its minimum, its unit price and what that minimum costs, so you can see the size of an order before you ask.
Can I mix different items in one order?
On many deals, yes - case packs can be mixed to reach an order minimum. Other deals have a per-item minimum instead. The listing and your invoice show which applies.
Do I need a resale certificate?
Most of our buyers operate as registered businesses or sellers, and a resale certificate helps avoid sales tax on wholesale purchases in applicable states. That said, we work with buyers at different stages — if you’re just getting started and don’t have documentation in place yet, reach out and we’ll let you know what’s needed for your situation.
How does shipping work?
The same way it works for every NPP buyer: you provide the shipping labels from your own carrier account - UPS, FedEx, USPS or a freight carrier - and we forward them to the warehouse holding your order. It ships straight to your store with full tracking through your carrier, at your carrier’s rates, with no shipping markup from us. Each deal shows where it ships from.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Wire Transfer and ACH Transfer directly. For credit card payments, customers can use Melio (a third-party service that converts credit card payments to ACH transfers). Payment is collected before inventory ships.
Do you offer net terms or payment plans?
No. We collect payment in full before purchasing inventory from our suppliers. This protects everyone involved and keeps our pricing competitive.
How do you handle expiration dates on dated goods?
Date codes are disclosed per lot where applicable — ask about any lot and we’ll tell you what we see before you buy. We don’t sell expired goods.
Do I need any marketplace or platform account to buy?
No. This is wholesale for your store — no online marketplace accounts, approvals, or listings involved.
